Wow, Abram turned seven weeks on Thursday! Every day I think, “Abram is growing up so fast!” I’m sure other parents can identify with this.
Cori and I are having an awesome time raising our little boy. He’s a joy to watch and play with. He’s laid back the majority of the time, which makes things easier for us. It’s a huge blessing to Cori and I. I don’t know what more we could ask for.
This weekend, Josh and told our wives that they could go see a movie while we stayed home with the kids. This meant I would watch Abram alone for the first (extended) amount of time. I was intimidated and nervous because no one pleases Abram like Mommy can, but I was well-equipped with what I needed to take care of him and prayed for the best.
It was a nightmare!
Only teasing, it went perfectly. Afterwards, I felt mentally prepped for the next time, which will be sometime late next year… ;)
We love Abram and are looking forward to his first holiday season. He’ll also get to spend lots of time with his Nana and Papa in Yorkville, who he misses very, very much.
